Tamami Toda-Schwarz
(piano, correpetitor violin class 2012)
born in Tokyo/Japan, came after graduating to Stuttgart, to study piano with Prof. László Gymesi and Prof. Patrick O'Byrne. In addition to chamber music lessons with the Melos Quartet, with Prof. Natalia Gutman, Prof. Rudolf Gleissner and Prof. Wolfgang Boettcher, she absolved master classes with Malcolm Frager, Tatiana Nikolajewa, András Schiff, Gyorgy Kurtag and Menahem Pressler.
She performed as a soloist with several orchestras and received invitations to the Banff Music Festival (Canada) and the Schwetzingen Music Festival.
1990 Tamami Toda-Schwarz was winner of the prize at the Concorso international di Trapani and received a teaching position at the Trossinger Musikhochschule. Later, she moved to Lübeck in the same function and works there with Lynn Harell, Nora Chastain, Heime Müller, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Troels Svane and others.
As correpetitor she has already played in international master classes in Weimar, Oberstdorf and the Schleswig- Holstein Music Festival.
